We’re not going to get too technical here, but plastics extrusion is the manufacturing process by which plastic pellets are melted down and formed into long continuous strips of plastic with a unique profile when viewed on its edge, which are called, somewhat fittingly, profiles. These profiles can be used for a variety of different applications including pipes, weather-stripping, fencing, deck railings, the list goes on.
